Hexess

Hexess is a jewelry brand created by artist Anouk Yerly. In her work, she combines materials such as silver, bronze, brass, ceramic, wood, and stones using techniques inspired by the artisanal traditions of various eras. Each piece blends textures, symbols, and shapes to tell its own story.

As a self-taught artist, she develops her practice through intuition, touch, and experimentation. She usually models her pieces directly in wax, allowing the forms to emerge organically before they are cast in metal.

All pieces of jewelry are handcrafted in Switzerland, either in small batches or as one-of-a-kind items. This approach embodies durability and circularity—jewelry that is made to be worn, repaired, and passed down.

In her studio in Bern, she approaches jewelry as a sculptural and body-oriented practice. Inspired by historical relics, medieval and folkloric references, contemporary jewelry, nature, and textiles, she creates powerful, sometimes kinetic objects in which materiality and movement are central.

At its core, her work is a tribute to the craft and to the people who have shaped her passion for it.
