Since 2020, moi-basics has been synonymous with the finest ethically produced underwear. Founder Lukas Frei’s stated goal is to offer high-quality underwear basics that you don’t even notice when you’re wearing them. The small Zurich-based label works exclusively with family-run businesses in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Germany.

The fabrics used are made from the finest modal, derived from beech fibers sourced from certified sustainable forests. These exceptionally soft and lightweight organic fabrics are breathable and moisture-wicking; they do not pill even after numerous washes and even have antibacterial properties—ideal characteristics for underwear.
