Circular Design – How Old Textiles Are Given New Life in Carpets.

Our Boucharouite collection is inspired by the Moroccan tradition of reusing old textiles, which stems from the desire to reuse as much as possible.

The process begins and ends with water. Just as life originates from water, the textile industry is inextricably linked to this resource.

The process consists of the following steps:

Washing the collected textiles – sorting by material and color – cutting into weft yarns and knotted strips – developing designs – mixing colors – setting up the warp – weaving and knotting – washing.
