Kitchener Japan Market

Supporting Program at OF GOODS

Photography: Ela Works, Felicitas Sohm

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Japan Marché will once again take place at Kitchener in the Aarbergerhof. This week at OF GOODS is also all about Japan.

On the tea house table, we’ll be showcasing a selection of Japanese specialties from our assortment. Starting Friday, June 26, we’re teaming up with Länggass-Tee to host a tasting event where you can discover and sample refreshing, ice-cold Japanese green teas.

On Saturday, a Paper Flowers drop-in workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Designer Manuela Brettle from Ela Works will be a guest at OF GOODS and invites everyone to fold and create Japanese-style paper flowers. Whether you’re planning to stop by or just dropping in on a whim—everyone is welcome to take a seat for a moment and join in the folding.

From 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., kintsugi artist Felicitas Sohm will also be a guest at OF GOODS. The Kintsugi Repair Event offers the opportunity to bring in broken ceramic pieces for repair or to watch her at work. This is a great way to experience this traditional Japanese craft up close.

And if the heat wave continues until then: It's pleasantly cool here.
