Methods is a Swiss-Dutch sneaker brand based in Lucerne. We develop circular sneakers that demonstrate how sustainability and modern design go hand in hand. Our shoes consist of five interchangeable components and are produced under fair labor conditions in Portugal.

At Kaiserhaus OF GOODS, we’re showcasing our latest sneaker collection and the modular concept behind it. Visitors can explore the individual components and see how a sneaker can be repaired, customized, and, at the end of its life cycle, sorted by material.

Our goal is to create durable products and reduce waste. To achieve this, we rely on “design for disassembly”—recyclable and biodegradable materials—as well as European manufacturing. We want to prove that the circular economy doesn’t mean making sacrifices, but rather creates more opportunities.
